When I have been on a journey with lights on and I turn the car off the alarm sounds that I have left my car lights on even though I have turned it off and the rear drivers side lights are on to get it to stop I have to switch car back on then turn light switch off then on again to turn it off it usually only happens on my first journey of the day has anybody else had this problem?

How old is the battery? Might need a new one.

Battery is 3 years old had a new heater motor fitted yesterday and he checked my battery said it was 89 per cent on Tuesday also had strange problem got in car instrument panel was distorted and wouldnt start checked battery fuses not thing at all rang a auto electrician he came Wednesday morning panel was fine and started first time felt embarrassed at calling him out so got him to put my blower in yesterday now I have this strange electrical gremlin

So basically rear drivers tail lights are staying on when I turn lights off

Could be a bad earth or ecm issue. Have you had the car scanned for fault codes.

Got scanned on Wednesday nothing came up after it started first time
