I have an old v6 navigation sd card which I used to update my Amundsen+ in 2014,  I would like to re-use it for mp3 music playback.

 

However these sd card are not readable on a pc or laptop (software protected by supplier), is there anyway to access the card and than

doing a complete format?

what size is it? is it worth messing with when you can get 32GB for £9?

I think 32gb (card is blanc), I was just currious if I could re-use this sd card.

Nope, single use SD card for maps on the Amundsen Plus units.

I presumed the sd stored map info, only just found out they were on a small hard drive

The sd card is used to update the internal flash memory (not really a hard drive but more or less the same thing), and once used the card is locked to that particular unit. So useless to anyone else really.
