Chips Away?

Featured Replies

So, the other morning the wife left for work as usual.

A few minutes later she was back looking rather sheepish.

She had reversed into my vRS.

Fortunately, very light damage, a scratch in the front bumper down to the plastic about 10cm long.

Anybody used Chips Away or are aware of a good mobile paint repair company in the West Sussex area?

Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place...

Forgot to mention, the wife is now missing but I do have a rather nice new patio...

I have used chips away or the local other type company and they were very good!

+1

I used them a few years ago...They were very good indeed

Thanks guys, I will drop them a line.

In fact thinking about it I have used them twice once was a alloy wheel repair and the other was the crack in my old cars bumper

I've used them about 12months ago on my current vrs, the repair was good at the time but now the paint has come off the offending area

You aren't the first person to say this!

A guy from Dentmaster told my mate that this is what happens, as they don't do they job properly, they just blow it into the panel. Eventually, after time it wears off and doesn't look so clever anymore.

They work on Franchises, so I guess it depends on who is in your area

Some will be better than others

As said, mine was excellent
