Vcds Help

Featured Replies

Just retrofitted a Columbus and Bluetooth Module anyone in South Yorkshire area that can help with coding the Nav & bluetooth options. Car is 2010 Octy Vrs with maxidot & multifunction steering wheel. Thanks in advance.

Might be better posting this in the regional section, VCDS section or checking the VCDS owners map (pinned in the VCDS section) and contacting local owners direct.

i've got VCDS but havent done this particular coding in the past.

If somebody could post up what exactly needs doing.. id be happy to help.

Im only in Buxton. Derbyshire.

Go to 19-CAN gateway > Instalation list

Tick 'Navigation' and 'Telephone' (can't recall what numbers they are - something like 47 & 77)

You'll probably need to go into the Navigation module and change the communication protocol. I can never remember which one it should be or where it is, but if you search this forum (or the Ross Texh Wiki) you'll find all the answers.

Just remember to do a full scan and save this prior to making any changes. Then you'll have the coding to revert back to if anything should go wrong.
