Picked up my Silver Octavia VRS on Friday. I do a lot of mileage so today was the acid test as to whether or not I would still have a house by Xmas, or it would belong to Opec by then.

38.2mpg to work, 37.1mpg home (50 miles each way) - I am very impressed.

Also v.nice to know the turbo is standing by for when all the 318's get a bit tiresome, blocking your view.

Bit of a learning curve learning how to drive it after various loud normally aspirated cars - it doesn't make any noise, just accelerates.
