Tyre pressure indicator

Featured Replies

I dont know how it works but mine went off tonight, i checked the pressures 1x32psi and 3 x 30psi, i inflated all 4 to 34psi, the warning stayed on

after a read i reset the sensors using the button and the indicator went off....

too much technology for me

The ABS sensors measure wheel rotation. If a tyre is running a different pressure to the rest, the rate of rotation changes compared to the others. This is what sets the TPMS warning off.

The more complicated and expensive system uses pressure sensors in the wheels to monitor true tyre pressures in real time. Skoda don't use that system currently.

Always reset the system when you have any tyres changed or it will probably go off a few miles down the road.

Went off 3 weeks ago.....£80 tyre....luckily this latest has gone away with the tyres checked and reset

now then, how does a Hummer deflate and re-inflate tyres from the drivers seat in motion?...
