Auto drive off locking etc.

Featured Replies

My wife's 'new' (18 month old) Fabia is set up so that only the driver's door unlocks when the key fob is pressed - two presses are required to open all doors.  Also 'drive off locking' is not set up. On previous VW's changes to the locking set up could be done through the car menu system. This doesn't seem possible on the Fabia or am I missing something? A local Skoda dealer can set up one press all unlocking and auto drive off locking for £30! Unfortunately the car wasn't bought from a Skoda dealer so that's probably why they want to charge me so much for a few minutes work.

I'd be grateful for comments.

You can buy the Carista app on your iphone, or download it on your Android.

I think unlocking all doors doesn't require £15.99 charge on the iPhone to unlock all customisations.

Then buy a ObdII adaptor for around £7-£8.

Alternatively if you live around derby I can do it. Or ask if anybody is near you with VCDS/OBDII

+1 for the carista app. There are a few other things you can do on there too. Very user friendly and as long as you can use a smart a phone you can use the app, very simple.
