Ordering SE L tomorrw

Featured Replies

After going to look at used cars today we have decided to have a new yeti

Going to order it tomorrow. Chosen 150 4x4 SE L

Candy white

Tow bar

What would be the heated wind screen? Can't find what it is

The golf we have had an aux blower built into the dash. How different is what is used in the Yeti?

Thanks

Phil

It's exactly the same principle as the rear but the wires are much finer.

Heated screen has very thin wires embedded in to to heat the screen, excellent at de-icing a frosted screen and good at demisting it.
Very similar to a rear screen heater but a lot more technically advanced.

The heated windscreen has a fine electric mesh element. It is just about visible in certain lights if you look close enough, but otherwise you would never realise it was there. It is excellent at defrosting a frozen screen in the time it takes you to normally scrape the side windows and also great at taking the light annoying mist of the screen. I am glad I specified it when ordering.

Sounds like a plan then

If you order it don't forget the heated washers too.

Any benefit from it?

Heated washers are only £35. The diesels do take a while to warm up so if you live in a cold part of the country, possibly worth having. However, the washer jets are recessed and having ordered a petrol which warms up more quickly and living in Cornwall, I haven't bothered with my recent order.

What is a Fabis SE & Poorly 172

Yesterday arranged to replace our 2.0 TDI CR 170 Elegance (a wonderful car, but now being retired don't use it enough) with a 140 TSI L & K in brilliant silver with spare wheel and heated washer jets. Should arrive late April early June. Can't really find another car to replace the Yeti. I did test drive an Octavia vRS though and the decision was close.

1st snag with the Yeti order - you cant have a variable boot floor with a tow bar......

only £10 difference asked for the Monte Carlo steering wheel as it was at a similar price

I should double check that,I've had 2 Yetis with the +- floor and tow bars on both.

Skoda came back to the Dealer - Broucher says its ok - only note is the floor cant be ordered with a sparewheel, no message about tow bar.

Out of interest what's the variable boot floor?

  • Author

It's a raised boot floor with storage under it

OK thanks.

It probably can't be ordered along with the spare wheel because you get the raised floor anyway as part of the spare wheel package and it's to stop you ordering the same thing twice.
