Rear bumper protecter

Featured Replies

Hi has anyone bought a rear bumper protecter for a superb estate? Some litter bigger has pranged my car and cracked the top part of the bumper, so a silver bumper protecter would hide this crack. I don't want to replace the hole bumper. Has anyone used a sight they trust or have one. Please help as the crack stands out a mile. I'm from the uk so would like one from uk. Thanks

Thanks for the help

Got mine from SuperSkoda too - Stainless - 2 years ago and still looks like new.

1 point - put a silicone bead/seal around the edge to stop water getting underneath it !

Sorry to be a pain again but the ones I've seen on superskoda and milotec only cover part of the bumper not from rubber seal to the end of the bumper. As I'm trying to cover the crack in the bumper. I'd show a pic but can't seem to add one on here with the iPad

On the bumper theirs a little ridge and that where it's cracked. So need to cover this and the ones I'm seeing don't do this, just seem to go to this ridge and stop. My car is mid 2011 uk superb estate elegance.

See this thread, I'm struggling to understand where the crack is. Plenty of pictures here...

Ah, I see it now.

I think the problem you might have is to cover the crack you have to get quite close to the bottom of the boot lid, which I'd imagine most manufacturers of the bumper protectors will avoid.

WHat is the difference between FL and non-FL bumpers at the load area??  I have the saloon and I can't really tell.

i also don't know the diference. ....but e.g in superskoda.com , they explicity inform that bumper protector for superbs combi  < 2013 cannot be used  in FL's combi(2014)....

ps. im curious if rear bumper from combi pre-fl and fl share the same partnumber....
