Have a USB hard drive and it won't play ball. Win XP Pro sees the drive in Device Manager but not showing in My Computer.

Any thoughts please.:confused:

Go into disk management and make sure you have assigned a disk signature to it. A wizard should start up allowing you to write the signature. DO NOT CONVERT IT TO A DYNAMIC DISK (if prompted)

Disk management is; right click on my computer, manage, quite near the bottom.
