Thought it was about time I joined after benefiting so much from Briskoda so far - and because I'm about to inherit my wife's Fabia VRS Mk1 (no, she hasn't died..). She bought the car 9 years ago at 24K. It's now turned 131K with nothing more than the 'common faults' - leaking door seals (£10 DIY fix), reversing light switch, suspension bushes, leaking radiator (125K), vibrating dash She passed it on to me rather than accept the pathetic trade-in price. I'm pleased...

Scala SE L 2024 Infotainment unit updates

For the past few weeks my Skoda Scala Infotainment unit has been prompting me to do updates. Almost everyday I get the prompt to do an update. I only get the one prompt in a day. I believe the procedure is to park, accept the update, turn off the ignition, exit the car and lock it. I think some updates only apply when you next start the car. Searching the web suggested several different ways to get the updates to "Action" A couple of days ago I discovered that notifications may show what is goin

I used a copy of this MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 MU0490 if anyone else needs, the site I think I had it from was mibsolution.one is currently down though. I was wary of the copy I had and passage of time, but it worked fine installed, I just have to clear the fault code ( have odbeleven but pro ran out and doesn't cover the adaption by looks of it) Excuse the state of my interior I don't use the car that much and could use a vaccuum.

Hi guys I'm new here. I have a Skoda Fabia mk2 2011 tsi. I've noticed the clip on the left were the shelf parcel clips is broken but not completely snapped off. So I used some super glue; not sure if this would work and how long it would last. How can I replace this please? It seems to be part of a panel. Thank you all

Hi all, finally got around to getting some new shoes ordered for the girl. I'm getting a set of Hankook Ventus Evo K137 235/45 ZR18 98Y XL put onto the Pegasus alloys. I was considering changing out the locking wheel nut for just a regular nut? Which then prompted the second question, I picked up a set of Alcar 9021 17inch Steelies for Winter Tyres, do I need to run seperate nuts due to the alloy v steel nature? I was looking on autodoc to try and order some nuts as I didn't know how often they
