rcd510 dab or dab+?

I'm considering buying a second hand rcd510 dab, however I need to make sure it is dab+.

 

I've got a picture of the label, which reads:

 

Bosch VW Radio MID EU DAB UP4 BVX

3C8 035 195 H

815 7 642 271 360

 

It's from a 2013 Golf 7 1.6 TDI.

 

Is it possible to tell from the info above wether it's a dab or dab+? I've read that VW started using dab+ in all their cars from 2013 onwards in Norway, but I want to be 100% sure. It's from a breakers so I don't know if the seller knows, I'm waiting for a reply.

VAG treats DAB and DAB+ the same when it comes to production codes, so I can't help you from ETKA, but the 3C8 035 195 H was introduced in the Beetle and the Jetta in July 2012 if it helps.

only way to tell for sure is if it has the black plug on the back 

 

if its on ebay then beware a lot if units are chinese

My Passat was built in March 2013 and has a RCD510 DAB unit fitted. The manual states it supports DAB, DAB+ and DMB Audio. If the unit the dealer is selling comes from a 2013 vehicle and originated from Norway I would suspect its the same as mine.

Cheers for the replies. I read up on it elsewhere and felt fairly certain the the H-version supports dab+. Unit was bought from the UK (ebay, second hand). Worked fine with dab+ as well. I think I saw the overview of which versions of RCD510 supports what on this forum in another thread. Nice list of units and what they include.

Quick Question, Will a "3C8035195 RCD510 without DAB" (As described above) fit into a Skoda Fabia MK2

 

I currently have a 5J0035161G that i am looking to replace.
