Got my milltek for vrs from a less likely source too

Featured Replies

Great find. I always combine ECP discount codes and quidco, can make a very decent saving, and they'll deliver it to you for free. Using the codes and quidco you can get things like H&R lowering springs for a good price from there too

Best thing I ever bought for the vrs, love the sound it makes every single time.

EVEN BETTER DEAL FOUND! This weekend eurocarparts have got 10% off using discount code WEEKEND10 which for example takes the catback system from £539 down to £485, and then through quidco at the moment if you spend over £100 you get 15% cashback which would then effectively bring the price down to £412! A saving of £127! God I'm so tempted by that right now it's not even funny, but I've just spent £600 on having Bilstein suspension and a DV+ fitted so not sure if I should go and spend another tonne of money on it! :L

And they also do things like EBC parts, lowering springs and some other performance parts and the above deal works with all of it!

just bear in mind that when they take the order they check it out to ensure they can supply for that price, so you may find thy knock the 10% back,  i was only certain my one had worked once it turned up......lol

Mmm, I guess it would be hard for them to charge another 10% if they'd already taken payment? And if they did say "sorry, we can't offer the 10% off on this item" then you should still at least have the 15% cashback :)

oh i didn't see the quince bit too, well crack on and buy it

Do they make more noise all the time? Or just when you put your foot down?

Idle its a little.... Not louder but gruntier. The more you put the right foot down the louder it gets. Makes me smile anyway so that's all that matters.

No it's not chav civic sound etc, it's a nice deeper sound with some nice DSG crackle on hard acceleration and it does genuinely improve performance

Here was my last one just on launch and drive by

Thanks for that. Basically I'm stuck between doing the cheap mod of removing the silencer from the exhaust as others have done just for the little extra noise, or coughing up for a miltek and having the extra performance as well. After the exhaust system on my last car, I don't want any droning on the motorway or anything!

100% no droning I do mainly motorway stuff and want a quieter system, so the milltek is ideal, if you take the bix out then you have more chance of drone,

Don't leave it any longer . 2.5hrs left to get that discount

chucked it on yesterday, confirmed what i felt when i took it off last time, The millet really does help the performance on a standard car.  The urge off the mark is noticeable and it seems to have a lot more grunt.

We are looking at cutting the other box out and replacing the front section up to the cat now.

Just been given some tickets to the Rugby in Cardiff on saturday. that means 400 mile roundtrip so should be nicely coked up after that........lovely.

Out of interest, euros have a 10% off deal this weekend. Makes the exhaust 485 without using anything else.
