Hey all

I'm sprucing up my car and need suspension recommendations. It's a standard 2.0 tdi 140. I want upgraded suspension with slight drop in ride height and will be running standard 16 inch alloys, so what should I go for?

_{Ive just come off Coil overs, they were fitted by the previous owner and to be honest I think they were cheap and nasty. I wanted to go back to standard, or as close as, but it was cheaper to go to a custom set of Struts and springs, so opted for the  ST sport shocks -with a slight drop over standard, at 20 mm lower. I also replaced the Drop links, top mounts and bushes, cones and sleeves.}

 

_{Ride felt firmer initially , and after a few weeks, the ride has smoothed. Its about 20 mm higher than it was on the coil overs, and I can now clear speed bumps (the car will no clear a fag packet stood on its side with the under tray. It was a happy compromise for me, not slammed, but not on stilts. (Octy MK2 07 PD 170 Tdi VRS)}
