Temperature gauge fault

Featured Replies

Hello everyone im new on here looking for advice on a temp gauge fault on my octavia 2. Changed temp sensor still not working. Took back to dealer he said it needs clocks. But can you fit second hand ones. Thanks in advance

It is possible to fit new clocks but needs special equipment to program the mileage and immobiliser.

What's the problem you're having?

If it's that the temperature needle isn't moving, then a local member with VCDS can easily do an output test to see if the clusters can move it or not. It's also possible to check if the temperature sensor is working or if there is a wiring fault somewhere with the same kit.
