What do people think is the best site for selling cars?  I guess it depends on the car of course but we're talking in the sub £1,000 car class here.  

 

Obviously Gumtree is free to advertise.  eBay or Autotrader?  I don't see any point in paying for both.  From a seller's perceptive which would get more coverage?  Is there much difference in terms of protection for a seller?  I'm thinking of classified adds.  Is there anywhere else I've missed?  

 

I've only ever sold 2 cars previously but I know some folks on here chop and change regularly so have plenty of experience in this respect.

Under a grand I'd go ebay and gumtree.. plus now there's facebook, my local car selling pages seem very busy, which would be worth a bash too I reckon.

Only a £10er on autotrader, I'd give that a bash but then it's twinned with eBay for my 'go to' sites when car shopping
