Electric mirrors gremlin

Featured Replies

So, I adjusted my mirrors earlier today, started with the near side, all good, turned the selector switch to off side and both mirrors started to move?? Any ideas?? Thanks

Presume it's the same after the aul off and on again trick? My drivers window wouldn't go down one time randomly in 18 months but could never repeat it no matter what I did!

FWIW the mirrors have always behaved exactly as expected

IIRC there is a setting on the infotainment menu to have both mirrors adjust simultaneously. Uncheck this and both should work independently.

That's not a gremlin it's a design feature.

The idea is that you adjust the off-side first and then the near-side.

After this should you need to adjust your mirrors (I.e. different drive or seat position) you should only need to adjust the off-side and the near side should auto adjust to correct position.

As noted this can be disabled if you prefer not to have this feature.

Thanks for your replies, however I've changed none of the settings and everything worked independently a few weeks ago so just seems strange that it would change now. Will check setting in infotainment tomorrow, cheers guys
