Tuning houses never steered clear of Twinchargers,

(reportedly one major company did stop selling, but they were not forthcoming on the results of Remapping CTHE engines anyway.)

 

Stage 1 & 2 were and are available from APR, REVO and others, it has been said that some were not selling them now, 

but then they could not do a CTHE engine anyway.

But APR have, and maybe others are now Remapping CTHE Engines (ECU's) in Fabia Mk2 Twinchargers.

 

Plenty CAVE engines are running remaps, have done for 5 years plus and doing better on them than many running the Skoda / VW Software.

 

PS.

Running a Remap on a 'Skoda Replacement engine' if one is fitted is quite a good idea, 

210 bhp plus is easily achievable with a CAVE.
