Bbs deep dish alloy wheels

Hi I'm Looking at buying some Bbs deep dish for my citigo found some and there 4x100 15" X 8.0j ET 30 does anyone know if they would fit straight on thanks

What tyres did you intend to fit to 15x8 wheels? 215 is minimum and 225 is better - on a Citigo!

I have 17" x 8.5J Dare RS reps on my Up! et 35 with 205 40 stretched tyres and they have about 15mm of poke on the front but they rubbed on my coilover struts so I have a 3mm spacer so its more like et 32 and they are okay now so I believe yours should be alright.

Looks like that wheel/tyre combination will be an MOT fail under the latest guidelines to MOT testers.

Section 18 of the Motor Vehicles (Approval) 1996 states: "if there are no pointed or sharp features which projects beyond the external plane of the wheel rim, no wing nuts are fitted and there are no projections beyond the vehicle body plan form apart from tyres and wheel discs, if the latter have a radius of curvature of not less than 30 mm and do not project by more than 30 mm beyond the vehicle body plan form" 

 

Mine don't poke over 30mm and my tread is within the widest point of my car (excluding wing mirrors). so I'm all good, but thanks for your concern.

You are quoting a 1996 reg. regarding the projection of wheels/tyres beyond the bodywork in plant view. The latest MOT guidance to testers refers to the suitability of the wheel rim width to the tyre size fitted.
