How to get past the Max 2000 contacts in Phonebook

Featured Replies

Has anyone any info on the apparent cap of 2000 Phonebook contacts limit max?

It's really annoying that it seems to be the most frequently used numbers that are not synced - family/friends!

Has anyone any idea of how the system chooses which numbers to sync from iPhone6s?

I am hoping I can change the format of key contacts to get the Bluetooth to choose these as some of the 2000 it syncs?

Any direction or suggestions greatly appreciated as there must be many people out there who can't sync all their contacts via the Bluetooth

You have 2000 contacts? Or several numbers for the same contact?

I thought with modern smartphones you were limited by space available.

Agree. I have 2400 contacts and half the most frequently phoned contacts don't sync to my Skoda Octavia Scout. Useless technology. Regards JCS

I think the workaround is to use Smart Link if your car has it.

Apple Car play or Androidauto just use the Bluetooth for phone calls, the contacts don't sync they stay on your mobile.
