Internet Reviews Of Ice Gear ?

Featured Replies

I'm thinking of getting a new HU for my furby when I pick it up on saturday.

Just wondered if anyone knows of a really good car audio website with a database of reviews.

I'm prolly gonna fork out a decent amount for a HU from the likes of Alpine, and of course, at those prices, none of my local ICE or Halfords have them in stock. :(

I'd just like to get an exact idea of how the features work and even better, a pds of the manual or the like.

I've tried doing searches on goolge, but as soon as you type in a model number with "review", you get all the internet retailers saying "Write a review if you own this unit". :(

Anyone know of a good place to look ?

The problem is that once you own the unit, you can't be a***d again to go back to the place you bought it from to write up a review... Which means the next person interested will have the same starting point as you... Chicken meet Egg.

But try http://www.talkaudio.co.uk/vbb/index.php for starters.

True, hadn't really thought of that.

Thanks Q :)

Or possibly look at some of the more NovaBoy™ forums as they're bound to go on and on about whatever 'wikid' head units they've got... :)

the first briskoda bust up?

Sorry Alex, but I can't help but feel cheated after you started slagging of the Symphony unit tonight, whilst you were all to happy to buy mine. Next thing I know I get it returned with a connector in pieces and have to resort to phoning Dave (skodaw) on his free Sunday to help me put it back together again only to discover it is working fine.

I hope you can understand that the way I feel now is that you changed your mind, invented some kind of problem with it and asked for a refund. That may or may not be the case, it is done and dusted and I don't hold grudges much longer than this, so consider this topic (well, the little off-topic rant from my end) closed.

Grumpy Q.

Q to get my point across here the connector was stripped by the local garage not by myself if you look through the posts i have posted previously about the garage you will see what i mean about shoddy workmanship.i had tried myself to connect the HU and changer together to no avail which is why i was forced to go to the garage.

IMHO the octavia unit of yours is far better than the fabia one to which the comment was addressed.

i am sorry about all that has happened Q but i dont appreciate being called a liar and i wish you had brought this to my attention sooner after all i am easily contactable!
