Hello All,

 

I bought the VRS Multi function Steering Wheel (MFSW)  the one that control the 

DSG gear and the radio,

 

I received with it Part number: 1K0953549CH  which should control it.

 

for some reason I can't connect it to the slip ring, I think it doesn't suitable for this VRS MFSW.

 

can anyone help me?

what parts should I buy? do I need to replace the slip ring with this Steering Wheel Slip Ring 1K0959653C ?

do I need the  cruise control stalk 1K0 953 513 G 

 

I also saw something that i may need the 5Q0953549A   Multifunction Steering Wheel Controler for Octavia 3 

 

or 5Q0907530AC Gateway Controler for Skoda Octavia 3 

 

 

can someone tell me what parts (with part numbers) I need in order to make it work?

There is certainly no need for any O3 parts.

 

There are two very different steering controllers used in the O2 which are very different and not compatible with each other. Your car probably has the later version which is why the older style 1K0 953 549 CH doesn't fit.

 

Best plan is an autoscan to show what you currently have and then we can suggest the right module for your car
