Suspension bearings... help

Featured Replies

I've had a good old search of the forum and can't find anything dealing with this, so new post time it is. :)

The suspension bearings (turret bearings/shock bearings/whatever you want to call them) have failed on my 1.2 on a 58 plate.

I'm trying to order a new set, but I have no idea exactly what Skoda call them, and get all sorts of things come up on eBay when I search for them.

Does anybody know exactly what they are called? Or the Skoda part number?

Vehicle reg is AJ58 CXS if it helps anyone with a parts catalogue.

Any help gratefully received.

Welcome to the forum.

Not an answer to your question but just a suggestion,

maybe go to your local Motor Factor, Dingbro or the likes and buy the correct parts and be sure you have them,

they will check and supply want you need.

Thanks George. Normally I would but, as always, budget constraints mean I have to do it at absolute minimum cost, so if I can save £20 on the parts it will be the difference between breaking even this month or not.

I understand. I am as tight as anyone you will ever meet. But something is far wrong if a eBay seller can beat a motor factor, or even Euro Car Parts.
