I've managed to catch the silver trim on my vRS above the glove box. Does it sand down easily to re-paint or is it easier to get one from a breakers? Seems fairly easy to remove once the glovebox is open. Thoughts? Very annoyed with myself at the minute !

Could buy some matt silver vinyl wrap - just wrapped my gear stick surround + ash tray cover so it matches my other silver trim (like yours).

That's a good idea. Darn sight easier than tryng to sand, paint, lacquer, decide I've done a crap job and had to start again. Thanks
