Yeti

Featured Replies

Picked up my Yeti yesterday, and have to say I was disappointed with the state of the paintwork. Okay, it was only a sole trader selling a few cars on Ebay, and the pics didn't look too bad, but really if you're selling cars for a living, a bit of time spent polishing and tidying wouldn't go amiss. After a 5 hour drive to collect it I didn't think it worth mentioning as it wouldn't have changed anything, but I was a bit annoyed.

I didn't want to post any pics til I'd done something about it but this is what it looked like when I got it home.

Love that colour, that or red look the best IMO :)

It's loads better, but far from perfect. And I haven't done all of it either so there's a bit more to do, like the tailgate and the front bumper. Then there's a bit of respray needed on the rear arches leading edge where the paint has been blasted with stones. It'll get sorted though.

I was pleased to find a factory fit Bluetooth kit in there, and it also has the rough road package. Cool.
