Skoda fabia 1.4 tdi PD 3 ... 17" kentaur alloys (roomster scout alloys)

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

I have a 2007 Fabia 1.4 TDI PD 3 and was hoping to upgrade the current alloys 16"Atria wheels (205/45/16) to the optional roomster scout alloys 17"Kentaur wheels(215/40/17)

does anyone have any idea if these will fit ok?, checked the tyre pressure chart on the fuel cap and it doesnt go up to 17" wheels which made me think it might not work

Also would these wheels effect the speedo being an inch bigger and wider ?

Any input would be great

Cheers

The wheels might fit fine but you are going up a bit in Tyre Size (Circumference / diameter) with those tyres.

It will work, but maybe best think is it a good idea.

Likely the change will have your speedo accurate where as just now it maybe reads higher than your actual speed.

So you think my speedo will be more accurate than it is with the standard wheels on?

They'll be fine, but run 205/40/17 (OEM tyre size on the Roomster Scout) to avoid any rubbing on full lock when the front end is loaded.
