Central Locking Solenoid

Featured Replies

The passenger side lock pops back up when I lock the car and the only option is then to open the door and manually push it back down. My car has been in for a service today so I asked them to check and it seems it is the solenoid needs replacing for which they are looking at in excess of £200 including labour. I can see many parts on line that are considerably cheaper. How universal are these if I pick one up and ask my auto electrician to fit (his labour charges are very reasonable!!!)

Thanks

Cheers. Looks beyond me but hopefully will mean something to my auto electrician
