Changed the colour of the V in vrs badges

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

Just a quick post to say how easy it is to changed the colour of your vRS badges. All you need is the colour vinyl sticker you want to use. Patience, a Stanley knife and something to make a template. A little heat aids in removing the green V if required.

Here are some pics of the finished results on my car.

I opted for a close match blue to the cars colour.

Thoughts and comments welcome

Did you remove the green from the original?

Did you remove the green from the original?

I did on the front but not the back.

Back was easier to do. Was having trouble lining the blue up to cover green completely, then noticed green was just a sticker on front.

Applied a little heat from hairdryer so ease removal and wiped the glue residue with some IPA.

Back also got a little heat once I stuck it on.
