I see VW are looking to sell several brands /businesses    are we moving into a new electric era ?   if so the dealers will need to be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21 century    

I see that the Volkswagen Group might never get some of the Emission Scandal Defeat Device vehicles fixed in the United States.

& in the rest of the world they have not gained approval for The Fix with Skodas.

 

The Volkswagen Group are spending millions or billions on a new Media Company and trying to make sure they run lots of good news stories 

while the Share Holders and investors are about to rip shreads out them.

 

The VW Group have not sorted out their current EV's and Hybrids let alone got the first of 30 new models ready for production any time soon.

They rather spend on lawyers, media spin doctors & advertising than actual research & development.

 

If they have sorted out door seals, corrosion and chain tensioners they would be doing well, 

but then as always they will just 'Invent' new technology and launch that before they have sorted out the faults.

Old model will be over 3yr old soon, that'll deal with 90% of the claims since most people will give up.

New models out, they'll have issues but the reset button will have been set.

 

Wouldn't be surprised to see some corporate shenanigans in the US that lets them bankrupt VW USA and not pay any fines whilst retaining the rest of the group instact.

Any more detail, which brands are they looking to sell off?

Apparently they are considering selling Ducati, Scania & MAN.

But then the AUDI boss seemingly says the Volkswagen Group will not sell Ducati.

Maybe they need first to settle some court cases if there are any from customers on MAN Marine diesels.

didn't know they had Ducati.

Culling more than 40 ranges from their current 340 !
