Can't won't start.....help

Featured Replies

Hi all been having issues with fuse 6 blowing.

Took cluster out to see if at fault and replugged and also checked under battery and undid fuse box in engine bay and now the car won't start. If I take battery off and reconnect it starts for 2 secs then dies. Then if I try again it just turns over.

I'm going insane here and can't work out wtf is going on .

Any help is appreciated !!

check the wiring, how did it go with the auto electrician?

Checked all the wiring Eddie and he didn't find anything so I was on the hunt for it now I'm regretting looking for it. Could it have lost sync with immobiliser ?

The immobilser is in three parts

Key + Cluster + ECU

if the cluster is happy with the key but communication is lost between the cluster and ECU then it will start and cut out after a couple.

Lost communication can be caused by several things

No Power

No ground

Break in CAN wiring

or faulty Module (instrument Cluster, CAN gateway or ECU)
