Fabia VRS DRL Unit

Featured Replies

My driver's side DRL glass has cracked (2nd one now) and I'm looking for a replacement which I'm going to fit myself using the guide on here.  I might be a bit thick but I can't seem to find the one I need.  Are they called DRL's?  Foglights?  Sidelights?

It's for a 2012 plate VRS.

Thanks.

You have no Fog Lights on a vRS unless somebody fit their own,

so they are 'Sidelight / DRL' Units, readily available, buy a right or left, Ebay etc.

Even available to buy from Skoda Main Dealerships.

Thanks for clarifying the name!  I did ring my local Skoda dealer yesterday and asked for the name and part number and was told that Skoda does not allow that information to be given out so I'd have to take my car to them so they could check what I needed.  Needless to say I won't be using them!

Is it just a unit suitable for any Mk II Fabia or are they VRS specific?  No idea so I have to ask :)

I am on a phone and can not link,

but a google of Ebay has a pair @ £79.99

skoda fabia mk2 front led fog and day time light ,   will find them.

Numbers are Skoda Parts.

5J0941068

You will find singles.

They are quite reasonable from skoda from memory as I needed one after the pheasant incident

And once again we see a sterling example of Skoda UK making a complete pig's ear of an easy customer relations matter, how hard would it have been to quote a part number? Or are VAG so hard up after coughing almost $11bn to US customers that they can't afford a customer here to go elsewhere for a drl light?

Hope you get sorted ok, from what I read changing them over isn't too difficult so hopefully you'll be able to get the parts and fit yourself. Last owner of our car changed the units for aesthetic reasons, not sure if ours are standard ones or not and no photos at the moment, will see what I can do to find out.

£57 + VAT but you can get them from ebay for £56 delivered so a bit cheaper.
