Potential New Superb III Owner

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Changing my ageing Hyundai i40 saloon (146,000k) and have been swayed heavily by the new Superb III Estate. While researching I stumbled upon this site (while trying to look for a real life pic of the petrol blue colour!!) and thought, I need to join this and get advice from lots of satisfied Skoda owners.

I travel approx 25-30,000 miles per year and am looking at the Superb Estate 2.0 TDI CR 190PS DSG on a 5 year PCP (not fussed about changing cars regularly) with as many options as I can do within my £450 pm budget (which by the looks of things I can pretty much max the car out).

In discussions with main dealer, then was recommended www.new-car-discount.com and am now speaking with John Robertson.

Looking forward to getting help and advice as I need it. Now the long wait for delivery.............

Regards

Jonathan

Welcome Jonathan!  Nice step up from the Hyundai there!  There is a huge amount of discussion on the Superb III forum and I'm sure you'll pick up all the info you need there.  Sounds like you're going for a fully loaded model - will you go with an L&K as it will probably be cheaper than adding the individual options to the Style?

Thanks for the welcome. I've actually fully loaded (well almost) the SE L Executive 150PS DSG which works out cheaper than the L&K.

Just deciding if I need a tow bar in the next 5 years and also colour choice.

I'll peruse the Superb III forums to get more advice.

Thanks again

Sounds great!  Interesting that the SE L works out cheaper than the L&K but I suppose it depends on what options you're looking at.  Petrol blue is gorgeous (but colours are personal of course) and will definably be my choice for my next car.  Have a look at some of these links and you'll find some real life shots of petrol blues within the threads.  By the way, in case you're confused by the names, petrol blue is also referred to as 'lava blue' in some markets but it is the same colour.
