Which Nilfisk pressure washer?

Featured Replies

Hey all

I'm after some much needed advice from my fellow Briskodian's regards this. It's my first time in this section so please help us out :)

Basically, I've decided to delve into the world of pressure washers and as this is a first for me, am unsure of what product is best for my needs. I am aware the Nilfisk's are a good product and apparently I need one with a metal pump but there are a number of models and the prices start from say £50 ish all the way up to £300.

I only really intend to get one so I can build up a cleaning regime for my car as I have let it slip badly over the last couple of months. I'm unsure as to whether any current deals exist out there that include all the accessories one may need such as a foam applicator or an extended hose ect or are these bought separately?

What do people generally go for?

Many questions I know but hoping to find some answers on here. If anyone uses Nilfisk and would be kind enough to share their opinion and any advice I'd be really grateful.

Many thanks.

I bought this kit from Argos two years ago and have been very satisfied with it. I chose it because it comes with an 8m. hose and an assortment of useful nozzles (expensive to buy separately)...including an "auto" nozzle (which has a fan-shaped jet pattern) and a right-angled "under-chassis" nozzle (self-explanatory!). Yes, there are bigger and more powerful machines, but this does a good job at a low price.....and lots of good reviews, too.

I've had a nilfisk 105 for a few years and have been happy enough with it's performance as an entry level machine, the hose did burst on mine last week and I'm going to upgrade to a 130 (£119 Argos) as it was in the back of my mind to do so anyway. The machine posted above sounds like a good choice for what you require imo, I've tried equivalent Karcher machines and wasn't impressed with them.
