Always worth checking, IMHO even more so if you stay with your existing insurer as most people just let the insurance run with a company for years without ever checking anything (so I'm told )

I wonder what they will send you if you ask them for proof of no claims discount for your next insurer? I suspect there will be no mention of the 3 year introductory discount :(

you weill have 1 yrs no claims from NU. However. if you prived the same insurance infor from the company you should be abl eto get further discount elsewhere.

Alledgedly after next year I will have the full "legitimate" five years. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Might be worth trying to get the NCD certificate/document sent to you, then maybe you'll be able to switch to a different insurer with that
