O2 Sensor ?

Featured Replies

Evening,

car from cold idles hideously, won't rev even with pedal hard down and eventually cuts out. If you give it the beans (like a 90 year old lady driving off) in 1st it will go but kangaroo and stutter, after a bit of driving it eventually settles. Original fault code was MAF, disconnecting it and the car ran better so changed that and seemed ok, then started with this issue, checked out all vac pipes etc, found one with a split fixed that and made sure all joints etc tight, drove about for a few days sorted ! But now throwing up the O2 sensor (pre-cat) and running like doo-doo. Question is does this sound like an O2 sensor issue ? No other fault codes or eml.

Possible. Would be useful to have some car details (age, engine etc).
