Has anyone got the Bolero and changed the left hand power knob to the same as the plain right hand one?

 

 

The power logo is doing my head in. If anyone has a part number or link to the right knob I would be grateful!

 

Oh, this one I can live with but the gearshift indicator is killing me. It steals my focus everytime it changes. I want to murder the bloody thing.

 

Good luck replacing this one. Should be doable.

They only sell the complete dash display?

 

That's the way with most car companies now, they don't sell parts only complete assemblies - because that's what they buy in from their suppliers.

 

Your best bet may be to get a complete dash display from a local scrap yard, try to swap the buttons and then sell the rest on eBay, etc.

What about a paint job?

I think one of those small black circle stickers may be a good shout, still amazed that these parts are not available seperate.

You need to find a skilled plastic plane model builder. They are awesome with their paintbrushes a wee "normal" brushes. If you want to make the knobs just identical, I believe a guy like that can do it in 2 minutes and for free as it is somewhat "interesting".
