Popped in on Monday to purchase a Nextbase 312W dashcam, arranged to have it installed today as I was cycling to work most of the week.

 

When they rang it all up at the till, they had some sort of promotion running (10% off I believe, WIN) I presented my British Cycling card which entitles me to 10% everything in Halfords so I got 20% everything instead!

 

Dropped the car off today and i got a call an hour later to say it was done. Thoroughly impressed with the setup, you can't see any of the cables and none of the trim has been damaged (which i was worried about). The camera itself is a good piece of kit and the fitter has fiddled with the positioning so while driving I cannot see it hidden behind the rear view mirror.

 

I've read many a thread on here damming Halfords, but i can honestly say that the Macclesfield branch have been top notch to me with their friendliness and customer service.

Great.  Be sure to let Halfords HQ have a copy of your post.  Credit where credit is due.

As long as all Halfords can have employees as capable and trained and qualified to the same standard they are onto a winner.

I guess it's down to the individual branches and the staff they have employed there. They can't all be ham-fisted cretins can they?!

 

Glad to hear of your positive experience... it's often the negative experiences that are reported online etc and the positive get forgotten about.
