Hoping for your help, once again.

 

For the past week, I've been getting the fault code below:

I tried to perform the Basic Settings, but found four different instructions (http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Throttle_Body_Alignment_(TBA), which one applies to my diesel VRS? I did run through them all, but none of them showed the 'ADP RUN' message in the top right corner.

 

Which wires should I be checking?

 

Could this be linked to the DPF? Mine is at 70g of ash, which is over the limit.

Now the flashing glow plug comes back on almost as soon as I've restarted the engine, as does the MIL almost as soon as I've cleared the fault code.

 

This will probably be beyond me to fix, but what sort of damage am I looking at? I've seen a few threads on here reporting similar problems, but none with a solution. I really hope they got it resolved and didn't pack their cars in!
