hiya, currently I will be getting my parents old fabia estate elegance edition (2004) and I would like to be able to put in a nice android double din stereo.  one of my friends is having one put in his car, but im unable to have the same as his is a mk II so its slightly more rounder around the edges.  ideally id like to be able to connect to the obdII connection for live fault/trouble codes, external mic for handsfree calling if needed and be able to attacha rear parking camera to it, not a lot I know!! 

 

anyways, if you guys can point me in the right direction of what im after, price range would probably be about £200ish or there abouts, with obviously the camera etc been extras on top

In struggling to find one that does what this one does for my model, I've tried searching the forums on here but there's nothing I can find that really relates to this, can anyone help?

In the first gen fabia you can install any square looking double din stereo with an adaptor. Just look for anything that will fit a mark 4 golf/Passat/superb/octavia etc.

The above should fit as the mk4 golf used the same principles.

Sweet, one more thing, I did message the eBay seller and he said that that unit wouldn't be compatible with the mk1, I'm guessing that if you have the adapter then it will fit? Also does anyone on here have an android unit in a mk1 so I can picture what it would look like?
