Afternoon all,

I'm Struan from bonnie Montrose up on the East coast of Scotland. Recently I have picked up a 2001 Octavia 1.8T 4x4 Elegance estate to use whilst I'm waiting for my delayed MK7 Golf R. I may end up keeping it as a winter workhorse depending on sorting out a few issues am experiencing.

Welcome to the forum :hi: .  You might just be tempted to switch to Skoda permanently - a 280 Superb or a 230 Octavia maybe if the Golf is delayed any longer :)

Heart is set on the R, wanted one since they first came out really. Had a MK7 GTD for 2 years remapped to 245bhp and 420ft-lbs so that was pretty rapid. Tried a VRS diesel and didn't like the way it drove tbh. Superb too big for me really.
