anyone know anything about a nextbase 212 dash cam thinking of buying it and trying to hard wire it in to the fuse box if possible so it comes on when car is started and no wires about,   anyone know how to do this?

Look on the Octavia 3 section. LOADS of info on dashcams and hardwiring. Most of it will apply to your Mk 2.

My skoda dealership in Belfast is selling nextbase dashcams for a sensible price and when I asked they will provide the cable and hardwire it for £50. This is £20 more than Halfords but it will not cause any issues to my warranty as it is all skoda endorsed kit.
