Had a vcds on the car this morning cleared the codes but the reverse light still didn't work one side

So with a bit of googling it looks like a faulty reverse switch

Has anyone changed one I'm off to get the part

Are you saying that one reverse light works and one doesn't?

I would be surprised that it would be the switch if one light is working as I would have thought that the switch would have just one wire coming from it that would go from one light to the next but you learn something all the time.

Check the bulb.

I've changed the bulbs 3 times all bulbs are OK

The clusters look OK

Cleared the error codes but it just pops back up

So I thought the next thing would be the switch

One reverse light works and the other doesn't

If not gotta take it to the dealer

If one reverse light is working, then the switch is fine - there is only a single reverse switch
