I'm new around this forum so sorry if this has already been answered.

 

Just bought a new Mk III Fabia (colour edition)

 

having some problems with the fuel filler flap - it seems to rock up and down when you open it to refuel and when I got it back on again, it doesn't seem to sit entirely flush.

 

Anyone else had this issue? Am I doing something stupid!?

You're not stupid at all and welcome to the forum.

 

The cap is faulty and should be fixed under warranty as long as there's no sign of any damage ie forced bending or impact.
