TPMS Head Scratcher

Featured Replies

There are those that carry 2 spares and a suitable jack regularly because they are on rural roads, on trips, travelling in snowy areas or just they have Directional Tyres fitted, or some carry tyres to have a Spare that matches the front and the rear if different sizes and if directional you use it as a temp and slow down if fitted in the wrong direction.

and do not want caught out needing to find a single tyre to match a wrecked one.

As to Motoring Journalists, they are quite funny, they collect a car to test, and they write reviews, they accept the car as handed over quite often,

just as someone taking a hire car or demonstrator out,

few ever have a tyre pressure gauge with them or head off to check tyre pressures and adjust them.

(many have not a clue about setting the TPMS, just assuming someone did.)

Just an observation from going to lots of car launches or dealers days.

PS

Taking 4 spares just incase is considered as overkill, but then you cant really run studded until the roads are closed...
