Wireless Argh!

Featured Replies

OK so now I've got 3 PC's at home - I'm sick of swapping the modem around to release the folding results - so I've got myself a Netgear router - no problem set up for one PC - access to net all ok.

When I try and connect other PC's from wireless dongle -- it see's the network and attach's to it via WEP --- after a few seconds I get a limited connectivity warning and can't access -- wireless strength is 92% cant see why ???

HELP

Mine does the same and then abot 30 seconds later tells me it is connected and everything is excellent

I'm used to it now

upgrade the firmware on the netgear. they are very poor out the box. A firmware upgrade should take it to just about adequate. wireless on the netgears is kind of a lottery.
