I have a 2010 2.0l CR diesel Octavia Scout with 85k miles on the clock. It has developed a stutter on acceleration between 1900 - 2100 rpm in the last couple of days, and is most noticeable in 2nd and 3rd.

Once past 2100, the acceleration continues cleanly.

Has anyone else experienced this?

It may be coincidence or not, but The VW/Audi 'update' was also carried out 6 weeks ago, and afterwards sounded slightly 'throatier', but didn't show any other differences that I could tell.

Id take it back to the garage who did the update and explain to them what is happening. They should take a look and not chargr anything if it is a direct result of work they have carried out.
