For Kia they could make it 8 perhaps

I would say if they were then it should be 4 years or 50,000 miles which ever is the soonest. Some cars could push 100,000 miles in 4 years which I think is to much without being checked.

Ha. My last van got to 170k before it had it'd first mot at 3 years.

In Victoria, we don't have annual inspections at all, except on transfer of ownership.

Statistically, our death/injury rate is no different to New South Wales which does.

The industry wants it introduced for obvious reasons...........we don't have rust as an issue though when compared to Blighty.
