The Superb is going in for its second service tomorrow and I want to make sure that when I get it back they have not applied the new software to 'fix' the emissions.

 

If there a software version I can check for with VCDS?

Tell them straight you want the Servicing done that you are paying for and you want no Diagnosis Done, Software Updates or The Fix, it is your property.

Have the Service Manager put it in writing and sign that.

If they can not then best not have them service your vehicle.

 

If the Fix was carried out the Service Sticker has to go in the boot beside the VIN Sticker and you can take action against the Dealership that ignores your instructions.

I suspect you could even have them required to purchase your vehicle at Market Value if they change anything about it against your wishes.
