Do you agree with Autoexpress :http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/best-cars/62098/best-people-carriers-and-mpvs-2017

Many moons ago I had a Sharan 2.0 petrol ex demo for my missus, Company Sharan V6 4 motion company car and for a change Renault TD Espace.

Excuse a growing family of 5 kids and business needs (well that was my excuse.)

These vehicles were really brilliantly designed, drove line a saloon and the V6 was very special indeed.

My neighbour opposite, with a growing family, also had a Sharan V6. ( pilot with BA longhaul 777)

We used to burn up the M4 together, early morning to work, me peeling of at Reading and him firing on to Heathrow.

He also loved it and put on 100,000 miles with out missing a beat and me 88000 also without missing a beat .

The Hyundai i800 must be included as one of the best value people carriers for carrying adults.  It will be my next vehicle.

The 5 or 7 seaters without proper 3 2nd row seats for adults are a joke and especially when there is still not enough room to carry 4 passengers and 4 23kg cases and 4 10kg cases.

As to 7 seaters that have not enough space to carry passengers and luggage for 3 going to an airport, what is the point really.

5 Seater Estate cars can be much more use.

Loving the Alhambra for the space with all seats down or still space with 5 on board.

Special bit though is sliding rear doors.
