Cambelt mk2 fl vrs help

Featured Replies

Been on to skoda website for price for cambelt & water pump and it say £485,

Phoned the skoda dealer to get it done and they are saying £599 because it's a vrs,

What's the difference between a vrs cambelt/water pump and a standard 2ltr tdi cambelt and water pump,

There should be no difference for a vRS compared to any other Octavia. There is a vRS suppliement for other work but not the cambelt.

It should be £485 regardless looking at the Skoda fixed price page - try a different dealer or contact Skoda UK I guess?

Ok got another skoda dealership to do it at £485

Might also be worth asking about price match. I got an emailed quote using genuine parts from an local indy which the Skoda dealer matched.

Came in at just over £400 for the cambelt+waterpump and then an extra £15 for the aux belt if I recall.
